I auditioned for 7 UK Drama schools over a 2 year period and successfully attained a place at two of my top choice schools. I completed my 3 yr BA Hons Acting degree and graduated with 1st Class Hons and Agency Representation with Noel Gay Agency.

Audition Advice Tutoring covers what to expect in your audition, choosing audition speeches, and much more.

I offer private LAMDA tuition for students, both in person and online over Zoom. After attaining a Distinction in my Gold Level Award, and completing 10 years of LAMDA training (14 exams in Duologues, Solo and Verse/Prose awards) my tutoring and professional experience allows me to give my students private tuition tailored to their specific needs and abilities.

I have been acting since I was 10, participating in school musicals, extra curricular theatre classes, voice exams and completing GCSE/A Level's and a University Degree in Acting. I offer one - to - one coaching for students hoping to gain more confidence in their acting ability and practice acting techniques such as sight reading, public speaking, improvisation, and Shakespeare verse and prose.

Having followed the LAMDA syllabus myself for 10 years, and gaining Distinctions at Gold Medal Level in Solo Acting, I have seen the huge benefits in taking the examinations. Whatever the student's previous LAMDA experience, I have exceptional knowledge of the technique required to achieve the highest grades.

  • LAMDA improves confidence, imagination and presentational skills.

  • LAMDA improves speech & listening skills and expands vocabulary.

  • LAMDA improves understanding of text and character and encourages empathy.

  • LAMDA can provide suitable material for use in drama school and other auditions.

  • LAMDA Bronze, Silver and Gold levels can be used as UCAS points, helping towards entrance into University or drama school.

I also offer private tutoring in various other subjects including GCSE, A-Level Drama & Theatre Studies having achieved A's/* in both.

As an actor myself, whose been through the rigorous drama school audition process, I understand the pressure and hard work that goes into selecting speeches and preparing for this kind of audition.

In my last two years at The Guildford School of Acting, I worked on the audition panels as a student assistant, helping to run the audition days and assist the tutors in the process of selecting the next years intake of students.

These one to one sessions will allow me to work closely with students towards;

  • Choosing contrasting audition speeches

  • Direction on speeches
